The lecture teaches his move, "the drop" and it has so many applications. There are coin routines
taught which do not require it and all of the moves are taught clearly, but the bread and butter of
the lecture is the drop.
The moves are easy enough, but will require some practice. The
teaching is clear enough and thankfully Dan Harlan is there to ask clarifying questions or provide
additional thoughts. The routines, as they are scripted, are absurdist. If your humor is like Steve
Martin, then you may use the scripting as written.
If you are not a coin guy, then get
this lecture. With some practice you will have a move that builds logically structured routines. The
routines are simple and clear and well motivated. They can be used close up and some are appropriate
for table hopping.
If you are a coin guy, then you may not need this video. You probably
have a variety of vanishes, false counts, etc at your disposal. I think the drop trumps must of them
and the lecture is definitely worth it; however, you may find your money spent better on materials
which teach scripting, routining, and stagecraft.
