This DVD is not for the faint of heart! The sleights will be tough if you don’t have already a good foundation of card work. I suggest mastering principles in Expert Card Technique first before considering this DVD.

That’s not a knock on the product, though. The teaching is rather short, but straight and to the point, which may go by way too fast for the inexperienced card worker. However, the sleights are very workable and I have personally added many to my own tool kit.

The routines are very fun to do as well. Some involve lapping, but nothing is too “bothersome” for the purists out there. The routines are definitely real world workers for professionals and I think we should consider that before viewing.

I took away one star simply because I don’t think the menu could have been more organized. The performances and explanations are basically looped videos and I had a hard time pausing and finding areas where I had to review. Not a huge issue though.
