I had seen Craig Petty (and his 9-year old son) perform this on their YouTube channel (Slightly
Unusual Magic TV). It looked interesting and I promptly ordered it from Penguin. After some delay,
and lost mail, the 16-page pamphlet arrived. It is better than I hoped for!
The ads show
Liam Montier's performance of the first trick, The Three Time Loser. The pamphlet has other
versions that rely on the same principle, and some of those are even better than the one in the
demo. The last one, again based on the same principle, can be done remotely. I'm quite impressed.
The skill level needed is 2 out of 5. It can even be reduced to 1 out of 5 if you decide
to use an alternative handling called "The Great Purse Swindle."
