When I saw the trailer it reminded me of the Ali Bongo lecture in the seventies. There he explained one of the methods Dan is explaining.
Ali’s idea was used bya famous Dutch kids entertainer the late Henk Driessen who blew up a large balloon (for making animals) and after the balloon was full of air he put the balloon on the floor, took another balloon also for an animal, made the largest part of the animal and than adding the balloon which was all the time on the floor. That was his variation.
Thought I mentioned it for other performers who want to use this idea.
