I was fortunate enough to meet Kyle last year at MagiFest and have a private performance and
teaching of this, and it was by far, the most magical moment of the entire weekend. Simple,
powerful, effective, and it’s all done with a borrowed bill. You can’t go wrong- it’s as impromptu
as impromptu gets. Fantastic!
Would you say it can be done using any currency or does it have to be the dollar bill?
Can this work with the Canadian polymer bills?
Are we supposed to ignore the discrepancy? It seems really obvious. Shame cause it looks decent. But up close it has to be even more obvious.
Is the rapid fire, non-stop patter essential to the effect?
Haha. Hi Kyle here. No not necessary 🤣 it's verbatim how i perform it at my gigs. Totally get that it's not everyones cup o tea, but it works well for me :)
That said, you will want to have some scripted lines while you're doing the folds, or else the folding procedure will seem boring and monotonous :)
