Magic Tricks

This pdf guide is very thorough and spends a large amount of time on the story and history of the legend. It then covers quite a bit of information on séance "tricks" like Ouija style glass tricks that the author has used to spook his friends and lightly touches on the place of hypnotism in a séance. You have to already have a working knowledge of hypnotism as it doesn't really go in depth about how to do it in order to do that part but as a stand alone reference curiosity it's a nice resource. It had some great suggestions on theming the séance performance space and where to find props, cards, and manufacturers who can create magical props / apparatus to go with the show. Overall ranking 3 stars because I don't think you'll be able to use it as a "cook book" to practice and make a show but it does have some very good leads.
