So I'm an advanced amateur relative newby. I read about the Lippincott boxes and this "Quarter Go
Box" seemed like a pretty cheap introduction to what are called Lippincott boxes (this quarter go
box is exactly that). Before I spring for something more expensive (which I'm now likely to do so) I
wanted to see how such gimmicks worked. First, this is a great inexpensive introduction to such
gimmicks. For this specific product, the major problem I had was that all that came with it were
printed directions in slightly fractured English that, frankly, didn't make sense and didn't help.
Penguin Magic to the rescue with help by Penguin's Erik Ostresh following an email and a follow-up
phone call I was able to figure out the relatively simple use of the box. So, (1) cheap gimmick as
an introduction to Lippincott boxes; (2) Penguin Magic support was superior; (3) I'm going to have
no problems doing disappearing coins/rings in a locked box. Kudos, Penguin!
