I've never used a shell game before. The price was very low, so I decided to start with this rather than a more expensive, "professional" set. Was able to start messing with it right away. It looks just fine, and works the way that it needs to. Feels a bit small in my hands, but thats my only complaint. Works very well on my close up pad, which unfortunately, is blue, and the pea kinda blends in. Did not take very long at all to be able to use this.
