Some decks feel truly luxurious given their consummate production and succinct graphic design. Although this deck aspires to that feel, it only achieves niceness, not opulence. Though I like its deep reds, and the neat simplicity of the custom court cards, I don't get why the black pips are brownish grey which, together with a back design that doesn't quite project the desired plushness, effectively undercut the intended effect.
