For the price quality seems fine to me. It'll easily hold a couple of US half dollars, and perhaps a gaff as well. If the closure isn't tight enough on any one you might receive a pair of needle nose pliers and a 'slight' bend to the male portion of the fastener will provide additional tightness,...that's a very slight bend done carefully, gradually until you achieve the tightness you prefer. Aside from product review, Penguin's way of conducting business, and their customer service can't be beat.
