Angel Simal has taken a fairly unique approach in writing this book on how to improve your magic, 'prepare to fail!'. Angel takes you through various approaches on how to determine how a trick could go wrong, how critical each failure is to the outcome, and how to react when it happens, including discussions on the use of improv and creativity. There is also a discussion on the possible (over)use of 'Magician in Trouble'. I believe all magicians would get something to thing about out of this book.
