That's a big element in a magician's repertoire: personal appeal.
But I don't have the DIY machines she has, and I hate invisible thread. And I hate a poorly-executed Elmsley.
But Ekat did inspire me to think of the hidden "layers" of magic that would otherwise gone ignored without her creative approach, humility, and smile.
