Eugene Burger's books are usually more interesting for his thoughts than for the tricks, but I think
that, in this ones, the tricks are the better part. The rest is well written but a bit outdated.
It's Eugene's presentation of what bizarre magic is and what its performers are, but who buys his
books today and doesn't know what bizarre magic is?
Side note: it's interesting that he
calls for people to not just look at western occultism for inspiration, and presents POC magicians.
This part could have been written today.
