There are a lot of reviews of the original (non-Halloween) version of this that have presented a
number of perspectives of it. I purchased the Halloween version because I felt I could create a
better story connected to why I would want spectators to match socks, and also because I just love
Halloween. I have not had many opportunities to practice the specific method recommended by Michel
Huot, and found that I was able to successfully execute it with some confidence. Unfortunately, it
was not to the level of certainty that I would prefer and I think the "outs" are just not very
convincing. So I tried the alternative handling presented by Liam Montier in the bonus video
accompanying the purchase and it works with 100% confidence. The only issue with that is that it
does not allow for the bonus kicker at the end. The reaction that the "main" kicker gets is so darn
fun that it easily stands alone without needing the bonus one. And the Halloween theme is just so
cool. I will likely not be able to use this year-round because of the Halloween theme but perhaps
the novelty of it being used for only a small part of the year will keep it very fresh for me. My
actual rating is probably closer to 4 because of the uncertainty of the main handling method.
