Let's start with the good: N-Pad does exactly what it's designed to do, and it does it consistently without fail when performed exactly as described. It was quite fun to just play with it.

Now the bad: The ad copy admits a small audible "click". Well, if by small they mean loud. Very loud. Very, very loud . . . then yes. Unless you're working in an extremely loud venue - like a night club where you have to speak directly into someone's ear in order for them to hear you - or doing the piece for social media where you can edit out the sound completely, I see no way that this can be performed elegantly in an actual show environment.

I was surprised to find that the unit does not come ready to perform out of the box. I'm guessing that a last minute addition was made to try to offer some kind of solution to make the unit quieter. To make matters worse, everything needed to do the DIY is not included in the package. Most homes will probably have the needed material/s, but at a $200.00 price tag, not including everything needed is not appropriate.

And finally, the cloth bag shown in the ad is not included with the package. Again, at a $200.00 price tag, there is no excuse for the bag to not be included.

Pass this one up and spend you're $200.00 on something that will be more than just a Collector's Item or dust collector.
