Magic Tricks

First of all, Derek is a really good performer. Even in the studio with no real audience (except for the awesome Erik Tait), he manages to make me gasp and laugh really loud.

Now add to that his really good routines and plots. All of the routines a real interesting and have a layer beyond the actual magic that makes spectators interested. I see myself performing at least half of the routines here! Really liked the lie to me, the opener, and the box illusion.

And to finish, Derek's teaching is really good as he goes over everything, and Erik's comments really seal the deal. I will return to this one!
