If I were to review hopping half as an effect I’d give it five stars this effect has been in my
pocket for well over ten years. I believe this to be the fifth or sixth set I have bought usually
from Johnson, Lassen, and Tango as well. I believe it to be the best coin gimmick to date.
I’m
not sure if it’s because I’ve been handling mint condition Morgan’s lately but something didn’t feel
right when I opened the box. The liberty gimmick isn’t the tightest fit. I think anyone familiar
with silver coins will be able to spot that it ain’t legit. Maybe I’m just being picky, also the
English penny looks brand new with a vibrant copper tone, once this absorbs some oils and loses some
luster perhaps these coins would look more natural side by side? Still on the fence if I would have
been happier with a traditional Kennedy set. If you like the look of the liberty and want that
vintage feel without breaking the bank on genuine silver this is a good alternative but it so hard
to beat an original at the caliber of Johnson’s hopping half.
