There's no flaps or elastic thread on this, and there's no thumb-writing involved. Those are all positive things for me. You can change from one thing to another fairly easily, but your thumb will be doing something. And there's no easy way to know exactly when the change is made, so if you set this on a table face down you'll have to make the change blind. It's not impossible but you'll have to practice.
