I am an old timer taught by Eddie Fechter & Karl Norman at the Forks hotel, Buffalo NY.
We would do close up magic packed in a room shoulder to shoulder.
If it could go wrong, IT DID!
I always has a couple FALL BACKS that could not fail in an emergency. I use the The Svengali deck with a matched Card silk... It CAN'T FAIL LOL
In old days getting a Svengali deck to match a silk was not easy. Generally ended up making our own silks LOL
