My uncle gave me his original Nifty Deck (from 1919) in 1975, and I still own it. It was my first
marked deck and I was fascinated with the workings as a kid. Imagine my surprise and joy to see this
marvelous re-release hit the Penguin streets! I lapped up all the swag (including an uncut sheet;
which now hangs framed on my wall), and have learned a great deal about the history of this deck and
its companion Daisy deck together with a plethora of great information and routines from the
outstanding, accompanying instruction vid. The marking system may not be the most intuitive, but
there are convenient workarounds for that and ease of use may not be the point in any case. This
piece of history is a steal for what comes with it, and a service to the fraternity. Well done
Penguin; very much appreciated.
