Those familiar with coin gaffs of this type will know that the parts responsible for creating the working of the effect should follow some natural contours in order to conceal the secret. Not the case here. Instead there are straight, obvious lines that stick out like a sore thumb. This is a close-up effect. Anyone close-up will see the glaringly weird anomalies. Cheap shortcuts in manufacturing make this a waste of money.
