I previously had bought a set of cups and balls. The instructions were the opposite of Good.
I have a subscription to a service that highlights all of the sleights of the cups and balls but
no routine (I'm new to magic, this is important to me).
I purchased a video, which is great
but it moves too fast and developing a routine was impossible.
For the oldest trick in the
book there doesn't seem to be an over abundance of information. Before purchasing Adam Wilber's Cups
& Beans I contacted Adam who built my confidence by immediately answering my questions.
I
appreciate the construction of the set. Everything is thought out and will last for years. And as
for the video instruction, Adam's teaching is done at the perfect pace so that you can easily
comprehend the instruction and make it yours. He offers a Begginer, Intermediate and Advanced
instruction so that as your performance gets better you can also increase your skills with higher
levels of training. There are more routines by other magicians to inspire and instruct.
This is a great effect because Adam is responsive to questions as well as ensuring product
integrity (I had a small issue that was resolved with an email). The instructions are very
comprehensive and, best of all, in my opinion, is that the cups look like the cups from a diner.
The effect, its construction and the customer support make this a very valuable product.
