This is Penguin's lecture of the year, no doubt about it. I am giving it at least 8 stars out of 5.
Where to begin.
This lecture is packed with professional material that is
commercial, engaging, deceptive and perfect for serious mentalists as well as magicians like myself
who love to sprinkle a little mentalism on my routines. Spidey's isn't afraid to bring his magic
knowledge into his mentalism routines when it comes to props, sleights and methods. Throw your lame,
traditional billets in the garbage and go buy yourself a deck of double blank cards to use as your
new "index cards" – so, so smart.
His BRILLIANT addition to the Sven Pad is honestly my
favourite thing I took away from this lecture. I mean, seriously, what a genius idea. I have already
adapted mine and using it with my own routine. I would pay $40 for this secret alone.
Ouija
will absolutely destroy your audience, no question about it. The structure of this routine is a
masterpiece and the fact that you can have a séance-style routine that packs so flat is beautiful.
The method for Match-Match is the best use for this method out there. This simple and
fooling prediction routine is a perfect opener. Some routines are light-hearted and fun like Heroes
while others are more serious and intimate like Connection 2.0. ESP Match will fool you, guaranteed.
The presentation in that routine is so great.
The end section is a gold mine of cold
reading tips that could also be argued to be worth the entire price of the lecture on its own.
