Nice trick, but the maneuver requires good finger dexterity.
For most folks, that's OK. But it
is not OK for my arthritic fingers. I should have thought more about it before purchasing this one.
A waste for me...
IMO it doesn't seem fair to remove stars because you cannot perform an otherwise excellent trick. Regardless of the reason. Peace out!!
I agree with the reviewer's comment. I too have arthritic fingers and purchased effects that I could not perform. The teasers didn't indicate delicate handling was required. There should be some indication of the level of dexterity needed to perform an effect. Then there would be no need to give negative reviews and they would have fewer frustrated/dissatisfied customers.
One might think that someone with dexterity limitations would use the 'Ask A Question' feature before purchasing a trick that might require dexterity beyond their capabilities rather than expect a list of disclaimers. Indeed, one person asked if it was suitable for their limited vision and it was answered.
I’ve used ask a question many times, it is an excellent tool for helping me decide when purchasing something I’m not sure about. Thanks Penguin
I’m speaking in general here, not specifically about Flip.
1) Other comments here speak of asking questions here before purchasing a trick. It doesn’t need to be stated that many questions here go unanswered, in the “Ask a question” area. However, I believe using the “Ask us anything!” red button might be a better chance of getting an answer, and you’re getting an answer directly from the experts at Penguin.
2) I’ve seen tricks on other web sites where the tricks are rated 1-5 stars on a difficulty scale, with 1 being the easiest. While this can be subjective and opinionated, at least it’s a good start. For example, somebody with limited dexterity or who has difficulty with sleight of hand would probably not buy something with 3 or more stars. This may or may not be feasible for Penguin to do.
