The Mathematical Fooler is not bad, in fact the trick can be quite good with prior setup. What I
really don’t like is that the trailer performance is very misleading and missing a very critical
step. That’s the reason for the three stars, not five stars. Is it just me to think that a borrowed
shuffled deck is truly a borrowed shuffled deck? Or is it code for the deck needs to be set up in
front of the spectator? Seriously? Imagine this, “Thank you for the borrowed shuffled deck …. and I
will now take a moment to look through the deck before I start.” That missing step doesn’t have the
same effect, so I can’t recommend this trick.
