There is a lot going on in this series and for each effect, don't assume you will get it all at once
because he doesn't just explain the trick.
He will explain a number of techniques (and
sometimes a little theory) ranging from just understanding the "automatic" part of whatever the
trick is, along with a number of methods ranging from how you can place a card at a specific
position in the deck while it is seemingly shuffled by a number of spectators, to getting a peak
using body language, to forcing spectators to chose what seems to be a random number, and more.
He presents all of the components separately then puts them back together at the end of the
lesson so you can do the trick. The basic tricks he presents are simple and can be done if you start
with a deck stacked the way you want. But Dani teaches a number of techniques to get the deck set
up impromptu from a borrowed deck. Also, none of those individual techniques require complex
slights. They are all quite easy.
The hard part is combining ALL of the techniques together
so the method is hidden from the spectator. And Dani throws a lot at you in each lesson. So you
definitely get your money's worth.
However, if you are the kind of person who just wants
to buy a trick with a linear explanation, then this is not for you. If you want a trick along with
some techniques and theories you can apply to lots of magic, then you will love this series. I for
one think this is great and it is forcing me to explore a whole different kind of magic. THANK YOU
DANI!
