The slates are flimsy. The frames are not reinforced in any way. Half lap or corner splines would have been a huge help. The lack of reinforcement means the frames have a ton of flex causing issues with the secret. Next, the writing portion of the slates was brush painted with chalkboard paint with deep brush strokes. This is not a deal breaker for performance, but is problematic for clean up and and reuse with various messages.
