There is a switch involved. Report this review

I feel my biggest complaint about it is the advertising says “no switch” repeatedly. But there is most definitely a switch. Would be more honest to not mention the switch part at all it’s a false expectation. When watching the trailer for it I had an idea of how it could potentially work just that it was done very well. Then it says “no switch” so then I was confused about it. When I got it the method was how I initially expected which is a fine method but was hoping for something more cleaver after it saying “no switch” all over the place because almost all plots similar to this have similar core methods of a switch which this is. Unless my definition of a switch is different than theirs but one of the items you see at the start is switched out to an identical item within the performance so less of a product issue and more of an advertising issue. The trick is fine even though I have never performed it because I feel I know better methods of accomplishing the switch for same effect. Nothing against penguin or the creator of this. I’ve purchased so many items from penguin and been happy with 98% of them. Nothing but love for the team. Just when surrounded by magic for so long it’s rare to be fooled and even I see something and have an idea how it works but then they say “no that’s not it” and then I find out the method is exactly as I expected there is some disappointment because I wanted to be fooled by it.
