The Gaff Lighter Project has sparked my imagination in a way that hasn't happened since I first picked up a deck of cards. It's an incredibly smart and modern update to the classic paddle; an item that screamed magic now disarmed and loaded up with literally any imagery you could imagine.

For $30 you get more effects than you'll know what to do with and THREE HOURS of Adam Wilber going over every one of the included effects in depth. The moves are easy and there's SO MUCH THERE with JUST what's included. The coin lighter especially has a lot of legs and I'm surprised it hasn't turned into an instagram hit yet. In the few weeks since I've received the project I've found my imagination running wild and have found an endless well to draw from.

Do not sleep on this project guys. Go get some black lighters from wal-mart, spend the $30, wait like three days for penguin to get it to you (literally, and that's with the free shipping option), put aside a night and you'll wake up the next day armed with an entire magic show's worth of effects that are easy to carry, easy to perform, and hit like a sack of potatoes to the face.
