I just purchased this download because I loved the effects in the demo. Now, I've only watched part
1 of 3 of the set, and I'm already writing a review for several reasons.
First, Dani's
delivery of Happenstance is so unique that it took me watching the entirety of part 1 just to
realize that I already knew this simple trick. He just does it in a way that is so different and
full of humor that I thought he was doing a trick that was completely new to me. His delivery of the
trick was way better than mine. I'll be using his way from now on.
Second, without giving
too much away, in order to perform the trick, you'll have to do a little bit of setting up. Now,
this trick can be done with a BORROWED DECK- so how do you set up a trick using a borrowed deck
right in front of the spectator? Dani teaches you "pre-trick" that you could do to get your cards
set up for the trick Happenstance. (this pre-trick requires some sleight of hand, which is the only
sleight of hand part of the whole trick- and this could be skipped if you already have the cards
set).
But, however, the thing is, once you have the cards set up, there are a multitude of
tricks and ideas you can utilize with this set up- so in this 1 hour video which is just part 1 of
3, Dani teaches 50 minutes of concepts and variations you can do BEFORE he even shows you how to do
Happenstance within the final 10 or so minutes of the 1st download.
I thought I was going
to learn a simple trick, instead, he took me to school and taught me the psychology of ideas
possible with the single concept behind this trick.
