Overall, John Graham's "Stage by Stage" is an excellent book. The tricks described therein are
practical and adaptable. But I would hesitate to call it a manual of how one can take his (or her)
close-up repertoire and scale it to a platform or stage presentation. I think it's a manual of how
HE took HIS repertoire and scaled it to a stage venue. I think it is valuable to see how he
managed this but - ultimately, of course - that remains your task. I would have like to have had
more info about where he obtained his tables and cases. More info about his music and sound system
would have also been beneficial.
