I bought the book only because it had the name Juan Tamariz. I brought two other books by him and found them to be very useful, especially Mnemonica. But to be honest I bought Letters from Juan and I am so disappointed that I did there's not one trick in here that I would use.
I think there are many things shared in this book which can inspire.
If you love Mneumonica and use it, the color separation effect in the book is quite interesting...
If you pause and check your situation after dealing the 3 piles, there are some possibilities. I was able to devise an alternative effect using the number 3.
If you like oil and water, but do not prefer the effect in this booklet - perhaps there is one you do like. If so, you can use the same beginning to the above effect but remove the cards for oil and water while cleaning up the color separation.
Maesto Juan is sharing ideas like seedlings - you have to nurture them to make them grow.
