Here is the origin of this trick.
This trick was created not by Kort but by A few of Korts friends(Karrell Fox, Mickey O’Malley, & Harold from Sterling Magic shop) you can read this in a book called “The Magic of Milton Kort” by Stephen Minch, as John Luka tells it.
The trick was created in honor of Kort.
