Magic Tricks

I like this 'trick'. It has a touch of 'mystery' to it making it a little 'different' in some ways, the instructions are great and the presentation is 'easy' for any level of Magician. I thought the 'scripting' needed to be improved and I am working on that. Obviously, the story must emerge along the scripting and props presented because that is the essence of the whole effect. You have to demonstrate how the deck is 'haunted' and from that, or perhaps the other way around, ultimately determine the 'Perp'! Or maybe they can be treated separately. So although I thought the scripting that came with it could have been 'better', I haven't found a scripting that I like. I will, but I haven't yet. I won't fault the creator for the scripting. I believe each of us have the responsibility to receive these effects and make them our own. So, I gave the effect 5 stars because it warrants that. It's a good trick as presented and I am going to try to turn it into a GREAT trick by simply improving the scripting. Maybe simply by reversing the two reveals! I never expect the creators of these effects to come up with MY scripting or MY presentation. That's how I make it MINE while crediting those who invented and created the effect in the first place. So if it needs a 'better story line', I will be the one to give it one. I won't detract from the power and potential of the effect just because I didn't like all aspects of the presentation. As presented on the video, it is'fun', it has a degree 'suspense', it is 'entertaining' but I am trying to come up with a 'knock out' "You won't forget this one", kind of presentation. That part is up to me. What I am saying is, I don't think this effect comes with that but the potential for that, is there. It's going to take some creative thinking to get it there. As presented, you have everything you need and you could certainly 'work it' from there. You will 'get it' as will your spectator (s), but I think this one is capable of "WOW"! or "THAT'S WEIRD"! and that's what I am looking for. I gave this 5 stars because the creators have given me what I need to make it that. I don't expect them to give me that.
