Magic Tricks

The photos of this deck tempted me enough to order a deck. When they arrived, I admired the card box, opened the deck, and found the color scheme a lot less attractive in reality. The brown-on-brown palette undermines the fairly inventive redesign job on the court cards, and cuts way down on the visual appeal. If I wouldn’t want to see somebody else’s card effect with these cards, why would they want to see mine? I’ll practice E-counts and faro shuffles with them until it’s time to use ‘em for Mercury Fold practice, so they’ll serve some purpose, anyway.
