This is a great trick. It is not a card trick and it is not a coin trick and it is a minor miracle
for one or two people. I can imagine showing it to a larger crowd, but it really has the feel of
something more intimate.
The only issue with it is that there is not an instant reset.
Note that the reset is very quick, about 30 seconds, if that, BUT, you will definitely need to go
off into a corner, do the reset, then come back. So it is not ideal for restaurant or banquet work
where you have to go quickly from table to table, but you could of course use it a few times a night
when you take a brief break and reset in a corner. You just can't use it at every table. Or if you
are doing magic on the street, you can do it between times when you gather a crowd. Of course you
could easily use this at a formal close up show.
That said, it might be a trick you hold in
reserve for the host of your party just to do something special for them. This is not somethign they
will have ever seen. With the right delivery, the fact the last die ends completely blank is a real
miracle that ends clean with an unusual object and will leave them contemplating what they just saw.
As for the complaints about the pen not working in the video,I have to say, so what, buy
another dry erase pen. You will need to replace it soon enough anyway. Also, the video only promises
one holder, but two sets of dice, so the person who complained about that was in err.
