I was shocked by the comments of the previous reviewer. This is not a book of card magic; it is an
autobiography by an extraordinary man who lived an extraordinary life. It is by far one of the best
autobiographies I’ve ever read, and I’ve read quite a few. In recent years, the only book I can
compare it to is Trevor Noah’s “Born a Crime” (obviously something quite different, but equally
impactful). I found both of these books to be insightful, well-written, and quite profound, each in
it’s own way. I would highly recommend this book to anyone, whether you’ve ever heard the name Harry
Lorayne before or not.
