You can't put things that are too big in a smaller box, but you can put smaller things (or more things - hint) in a larger box. I wear a 9 1/2 (US) shoe and they wouldn't fit in the smaller box. Easy to assemble but be very careful since the tape is super sticky and would be difficult to unassemble or repair (but could be done). This really does look like a real shoebox especially when the included stickers for shoe brands are applied. Among the stickers are UPC code stickers which add a nice touch of verisimilitude. Final note: if you put this together properly it will initially be sticky but working with it for a while loosened it up quite nicely.
