This lecture was a very pleasant surprise To be honest, I wasn’t sure I would find much that I
could use inasmuch as I perform primarily kid shows at public libraries and schools -- but I was
wrong. Jack’s performance and explanations contained a number of very clever and entertaining ideas
that I can adapt for my audiences. In addition to his own creations, several of the routines are
Jack’s unique handling of well-known effects. (I especially like what he did with Ultimate Ace
Unleased, essentially turning MacDonald’s Aces into a stage effect.) Along with Ultimate Ace
Unleased, my favorites were Nervous Jolt, Premonition and Say My Name – really good, practical, and
entertaining stuff. I believe any working magician will find a number of ideas they will want to
incorporate into their acts. Very, very nice.
