The trick is good, the tutorial is excellent, but the gimmick is obviously made of paper and very
fragile. I didn’t “break” mine, but it did get marked up pretty bad accidentally with a sharpie and
I can’t easily fix or replace it.
Add a new strip of sticky note to it.
A fresh sharpie might be to juicy .
Fortunately, I noticed right away that a regular Sharpie market bleeds right through the Post-it paper and would mark up the gimmick when positioned directly below it. Luckily, I tried writing first on a Post-it page not directly above the gimmick, or I too would have been extremely disappointed by a ruined gimmick. I believe a word of caution in the instructions should alert the buyer to the possible damage done by a sharpie bleeding through and onto the gimmick. I only use a regular pen for this effect.
