Don't get me wrong, the deck itself is well designed with a nice hook to get into it. But it is the
detail in the tutorials that really make this project.
You also don't have to understand
the markings to still get a lot out of this deck. Tricks like reset, and Dr Daley's Last trick can
be performed very cleanly with this deck and I'd even argue are better as the premise is easier to
understand. One problem about doing card tricks to kids is that they don't always understand the
difference between the cards or even the suit names. A kid can follow colors.
Now without
spoiling methods, the two biggest things I got out of this project is that you can combine Rubik
False shuffles to give the appearance of a complete mix while still under your control. And
secondly, that the Cube 52 deck is an ESP deck. Just instead of a star or wavy lines, it's colors.
The Tutorial is worth the stars
