Overview (5/5)
A bit of backstory--I often have 4-5 decks of cards in my bag at work and
rotate them in and out in a pseudo "king of the hill" style contest: weekend to weekend the two
decks people seem most interested in (based on unprompted comments about them, as well as letting
them choose what deck I use) make it to the next weekend, and the others go back to the shelf (or
more realistically, scattered around my desk).
Since I got these cards in early November,
they made it back into my bag every week; beating out even avengers/other themed theory 11 decks,
which lasted all summer.
Design: (5/5)
Both the box and the cards have the same
cool design elements (red foil and general aesthetic, which is a nice change compared to some decks
where the box is way more decorative than the cards), while still being very readable.
Handling and Extras: (5/5)
The paper, printing, and coating are all top-notch. They
spread well, and handle springs, fans, and the other paltry cardistry I can do. Even after a couple
weeks of use, there isn't much change in how they've functioned. It includes a double backer, and
blank card, which is always a benefit. Notably, the design seems better than most for doing fans
that show the deck as entirely blank.
Verdict:
If you collect cards, whether to
use them or not, this deck doesn't disappoint!
