Magic Tricks

This effect is excellent. Just think about it - the cards are dealt and the spectator says stop anywhere. They look at the card, mix it in and then shuffle all the cards together all while your head is turned. Pretty fair conditions and yet, you find their word every time. Super simple, clean, not much if any real sleight of hand. This is a strong direct effect.

There's some memorization, but the way the trick is set up makes it pretty effortless. I was able to perform this effect about 30 minutes after watching the instructional.

My only gripe is that I wish I could have gotten 2 packs of the Chinese characters, as I don't use ESP cards. I performed this routine about 10 times last night and the cards are starting to clump together since they're so few. The trick still works fine and the cards are good quality, but since there's only 20 cards per pack, they wear down quicker.
