This was my favorite effect of the series. It is technically not that difficult but I would say it
was an intermediate level trick technically.
The hard part is that you will need to think
a little on your feet depending on the cards that are revealed that are added up. The spectator's
card can be in a wide range of locations and you have to react to that and deal with the different
scenarios as they occur. Dealing with these scenarios isn't something a "move monkey" can fix. It
is about naturality and jazzing in the moment. It is more sleight of mind and mouth than it is
sleight of hand.
That said, it is a fabulous trick that will fool lay people and
magicians. It is devious and well worth the effort.
