While this is a special cube, it's much easier than many other cube solving tricks. The tutorial was explained well also, except more time was devoted to beginner type moves and less to the more complex memorization of advanced shuffling of the cube, which really most will no doubt avoid. I myself prefer the easier version. You'll have to buy a regular cube if you want to switch to be examined. I thought the price for this was quite reasonable. I'm happy with my purchase.
