Of all the versions of this trick, this is one of the better ones. Despite a reduction in smoking generally, this still plays big with a “fake” cigarette or straw or pen etc. Visually this version is as solid as any. Similar to the original, mechanically there are improvements. Perhaps best is that immediately after removing whatever object you want to go through the coin, you can show the coin pretty freely and closely on both sides.
