Devin's lecture is full of worthwhile magic just like his first Penguin lecture. There are a couple
of things I wanted to point out:
1. I'd love to add BREAKFAST MATCH to my repertoire.
Unfortunately, the breakfast cereal packs that Devin recommends appear to be unavailable, or only
available at a ridiculously high price on eBay. Fortunately, there are some other options out there
that should be suitable. The hunt continues!
2. I put together PUZZLE MANIA based on the
information in this lecture and the ebook. Devin is correct in the video when he says the puzzles
can be kind of expensive when you buy them retail. Fortunately, you can find suitable puzzles for
good prices at sites such as Temu and AliExpress. If you are interested in the effect, check those
sites out.
Including the ebooks for the effects is a great bonus. That makes this lecture a
great value. Recommended!
I am from Texas, but retired to the Philippines. Most US brands are not available here, or are prohibitively expensive. For the Breakfast Match, I just switched it to bags of locally available chips. It works the same, and they are so cheap - I hand them out for the kids to eat, after the show. 😎
That's a good idea, Tukarum. I did find some single-serving breakfast cereals that should work well for the effect.
I should have also mentioned in my review that the Auto-Spell Deck is a very easy and powerful effect too. I've fooled magicians with it!
