I sent this one back because I did not like the gimmick. Please understand that my rating is
subjective and based my personal experience with the prop. You might feel differently, but I’ll try
to add some clarification without any exposure. I thought this prop would be like a devils hanky
with a unique fabrication that allowed for different handlings. This is sort of true, but the method
they use to achieve the locking function is extremely aggressive. It causes a lot of unnatural
sound, and the hardware is not conducive to the nature of lightweight polyester fabric and delicate
stiching. The stitching around the gimmick started coming loose within the first couple minutes of
handling. My search for the perfect vanishing ring hanky continues.
A couple notes on usage
for anyone considering this:
* This is only meant for vanishes and switches. The opening is
small, so you can’t use it for appearances in the same way you would with a devils hank. You can’t
fit your hand into the pocket.
* I had been hoping this would work for a billet
switch/force, but it can’t be used in this way for the same reason as above.
