The prop itself is really cool. It looks like an unsuspecting generic office pen, which is great!
I got the red cap version.
I was able to start writing with both sides of the pen
right out of the box with no issues.
There is a little bit more sleight of hand required
for the routine in the trailer. I haven't performed it yet so I don't want to criticize it because
an experienced magician and mentalist should have no problem with the routine.
I wish
that there had been more routines or ideas for using the pen. I'm recently getting back into magic
so I don't have many ideas of my own yet on how to use the pen but I really like the premise of it.
So keep that in mind if you don't already have ideas for your own routine.
They mention in
the tutorial that they're looking for new uses for it and might update the tutorial, so I'm looking
forward to that!
Overall it's a well made utility prop that an experienced mentalist and or
magician should be able to make use of.
