I got this on an open box sale and actually love it!
After watching the 15 minute tutorial
I was off and away. The remote comes with both a safety pin and stick on magnet to attach to your
clothing. The gimmick truly is quiet, the button on the remote is louder in quiet environments.
I love that I can use this from across the room so it eliminates people thinking I'm using
I.T to make it work. This effect allows the user to apparently find up to 4 cards at once, or as few
as 1 card. You can even allow the spectator to select their own card and "loose" it in the deck,
only for the device to find it.
The device also allows for a rising card effect, which can
also be activated from across the room using the remote.
I took off a star because you
need to supply 15 of your own bicycle cards, the on/off button is flush with the casing making it
impossible to active using your finger, you'll need a pen tip or paper clip to get in the groove and
it can be fiddly reversing the thread once it has been tightened. The thread got caught around the
spool too (but it was a quick and easy 30 second fix).
They do supply you with another
spool, as well as more thread if need be. The set up also takes about 1 minute to reset, and you
absolutely cannot do the reset in view of your spectators, you'll need to find a quiet room with a
table.
All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who
loves visual/haunted card effects; especially if it comes on sale again!
